Its wildflower season!
Spring is one of the most visually appealing times to visit Halls Gap and the Grampians National Park. A rich abundance of native wildflowers - including varieties of wild orchids - burst through the national park floor, showing off their vibrant colours and exquisite detail. To see these natural beauties up close and personal, don’t miss the Grampians Wildflower & Art Show from 5-9 October 2007. This five day exhibition showcases local wildflowers, as well as wildflower sculptures and arts and crafts. Visitors will be treated to guided wildflower walks and children’s activities. It’s also the time to experience the popular ‘Grampians Four’ Spring Exhibition from 5-14 October 2007; an annual display of artworks reflecting the colour and essence of the region by local artists Helen Leach, Laurie Evans, Nannette Bourke and Alan Leishman.
