Welcome to the Halls Gap and Grampians
Accommodation and Tourism Directory.
Located on Fyans Creek in the heart of the Grampians National Park,
Halls Gap lies in a valley between the ancient Wonderland and Mount
William Ranges with their craggy towering ramparts, canyons and
lookouts.
Halls
Gap provides an ideal base for exploring the region. A network of
roads lead to other scenic drives and there's a wealth of walking
trails both around the town and in the area. Lakes Bellfield,
Lonsdale and Fyans are all within a short drive of the town,
providing opportunities for sightseeing, canoeing, fishing and
birdwatching.
Main attraction Brambuk - the National Park and Cultural Centre,
two-and-a-half kilometres south of Halls Gap, is a must-see. There
is an audio-visual display, information relating to the park and its
features, and advice on activities and camping.
Halls Gap is the perfect tourist village, with a cluster of motel
style accommodation, popular backpacker and student lodgings and
well-equipped caravan parks with cabins and powered sites. There's
also an attractive option in the older style family comfort of
traditional guest houses, along with a broad range of shops,
restaurants and a supermarket to provide daily needs.
Along with indulgent spa, yoga and wellbeing centres, these all
combine to make Grampians THE destination to relax, recharge and
refresh in an environment offering the very best of natural
Victoria.
Halls Gap is hidden in the heart of
this spectacular wilderness region - The Grampians Gariwerd National Park.
It is on your doorstep and it’s so easy to get
here. |
